Slix make their debut on Comet Collective with Bootstrap Paradox, a three-track EP built around a simple idea: a signal sent from the future to the present. The contact begins with a synthesizer sent back through time, a message from our future selves. As the signal is brought into the present and the tracks begin to take shape, the sound starts to distort, break apart and evolve, giving birth to the second chapter, Hyper Distortion. The final track, Prometheus, marks what comes after the contact. The beginning of a new era as the portal opens and the signal reaches its destination. Bootstrap Paradox is the story of a message travelling through time and what happens when we answer it.
