As One - At the same time; all together. Honestly this song started as a rhythm I was tapping, and I decided to write the whole thing into a song! It was probably the quickest song, from conception all the way to completed production, that I've ever made. Conceptually, it seemed like the opposite of Drift Away, and I decided to really lean into that distinction. This is the first track in Chiaroscuro that is an antithesis to another, and Kindred's antithesis is likely up next. For the little fills I use, I decided to bring back most of the ones I've used within the past year or so, giving each space to breathe in given sections. I also really tried to focus on rhythm, writing the melody to follow the rhythm, and building off of it in the last section so it's more solo-like.
