Behind the fame, beyond the spotlight, sometimes all anyone wants is to be loved. Inspired by the unforgettable romantic story of the movie Notting Hill, Just Asking brings one of cinema's most touching expressions of love into the musical world of KiwiDiscman. At the heart of the story is a simple but powerful idea: no matter how famous, successful or admired someone may be, love makes us all equally vulnerable. In Notting Hill, a world-famous actress falls in love with an ordinary man. Two people from completely different worlds discover a connection that fame, fortune and public expectations cannot explain. We wanted to capture that beautiful moment when everything else falls away — the celebrity, the glamour, the complications — leaving just one person standing before another, hoping their feelings will be returned. Just Asking (DnB Vocal Edit) transforms that emotion into a heartfelt Drum & Bass experience, blending expressive vocals, romantic melodies and uplifting electronic energy. The music carries the vulnerability of opening your heart, the uncertainty of waiting for an answer and the hope that love might overcome the distance between two very different lives. This is our musical tribute to the storytelling and emotion of Notting Hill, reimagined through the sound of the KiwiVerse. Because sometimes the greatest declaration of love isn't grand or complicated. It's simply one heart asking another for a chance. 🎧 KiwiDiscman | The KiwiVerse 🇳🇿
